TRIATHLON BOOT CAMP STAFF

A triathlon camp is only as good as the quality of its instructors.  Mid-Atlantic Multisport's Triathlon Boot Camp consistently receive the highest ratings for the knowledge, professionalism and responsiveness of its staff.  Our team includes some of the top coaches and professional athletes in the sport and has more than 70 years of combined coaching and racing experience.

BILL HAUSER

Bill is the founder and head coach of Mid-Atlantic Multisport.  He has been active in endurance sports, both as a coach and competitor, for over 20 years.  He has experience coaching athletes of all ability levels, from beginners to elite-level competitors. 

Bill is one of a select number of coaches in the United States to be Level II-certified by USA Triathlon, the national governing body of the sport.  He also serves as the Head Triathlon Coach for the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training Program.

Bill was selected to the 2001, 2002 and 2003 Triathlon All-American Teams by USA Triathlon and represented the United States at the 2002 Long Course World Championship in Nice, France.  He has competed in the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii three times and has run nearly 20 marathons around the world. 

Bill serves on the USA Triathlon Board of Directors for the Mid-Atlantic Region and publishes The Mid-Atlantic Monthly, an email newsletter for multisport athletes.


KEN GLAH

Ken has been racing professionally around the world for over 25 years.  He has competed in more than 50 Ironman races including a record 24 consecutive finishes at the World Championships in Hawaii where he has placed in the top ten 10 times. 

Ken has won national titles at Olympic and long course triathlons in the U.S. as well as winning major races both short and long in places such as Brazil, Israel, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand, Chile, Guatemala and the Caribbean.  Ken has won 6 Ironman races over his distinguished career - 3 in Brazil, 1 in Canada and 2 in New Zealand, as well as the 1993 Ironman World Series Title. 

While still competing professionally, Ken also owns and operates Endurance Sports Travel, a travel agency which offers complete travel packages to races around the world.

TODD WILEY

Todd has been involved in endurance sports both as an amateur and professional athlete and as a coach for more than 20 years. Todd has coached athletes at every level, from age group swimmers to collegiate runners and triathletes of all abilities.  Todd is a USA Triathlon certified coach and he currently serves as the Head Triathlon Coach for the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Team in Training Program.

PAMELA MORRIS

As a multisport coach and health and fitness consultant, Pamela specializes in working with women to develop unique fitness and wellness programs.  She also coaches athletes of all levels to reach their sport-specific goals.  Pamela has delivered health and wellness workshops to Fortune 500 companies and has appeared frequently as a health and fitness expert on Washington, DC-area radio programs.  She also has served as an adjunct professor at American University in the areas of stress management and health and wellness.  Pamela holds a master's degree from American University in Health & Fitness Management with a focus in health promotion.

Pamela's expertise and talents are highlighted by her individual achievements in both swimming and triathlon. Pamela is a former 100 yard and 200 yard breaststroke record holder at Duke University, a six time swimming All-American and a five time national qualifier. She has also served as the assistant men's and women's swimming coach at Georgetown University. In 2002, Pamela was selected to Team USA and competed in the 2002 Long Course World Championship in Nice, France.

RICK SIMPSON

Rick is the head coach of the Villanova University men's and women's swimming & diving programs, a position he has held for the past seven years. Rick came to Villanova from Seton Hall University, where he headed up the school’s men's and women's programs for three seasons.

Rick was also an assistant to the U.S. Olympic Team Coach at Team Foxcatcher. While with Team Foxcatcher, he assisted in the training of four Olympians. In addition, he coached the Foxcatcher Team at the 1992 National Championships in Mission Viejo, California.

During the summer of 1999, Rick was named to the coaching staff of Team USA at the Second Military World Games in Zagreb, Croatia. The team consisted of several current and former world record holders and Olympians.

BOB WENDLING

Bob is a USA Triathlon CAT 1 Official.  In 1989, he was the first USAT official certified in the Mid-Atlantic Region and the 12th official certified nationally.  Since that time Bob has officiated over 90 events including two ITU World Championships and he has served as Head Official at six USAT National Age-Group and Pro Championships as well as an Ironman World Championship.  Because of his pioneering work at helping structure the Officials Program, Bob was named National Official of the Year in 1992 and then in 1996 was named the Mid-Atlantic Official of the Year.

BOB BURKE 

Bob is one of the leading bicycle fit experts in the Delaware Valley and one of a select number of individuals designated as a Serotta Certified Master Bike Fit Specialist.  Bob is an owner of Guys Bicycles in Feasterville, PA and has worked in the cycling industry since 1979.  During this time, Bob has fit thousands of cyclists on their bicycles.  Bob is also an accomplished athlete and competes in BMX, road, mountain, triathlon and duathlon events.

KEVIN MILLER 

Kevin is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and an active member of the National Strength & Condition Association.  Kevin works primarily with high school and collegiate level athletes competing in football, basketball, baseball, field hockey, soccer, rowing, lacrosse and endurance events.

CHIP HOMEIER

Chip is a frequent speaker on topics related to bicycle maintenance and repair.  As owner of High Road Cycles for the past 10 years, Chip has inspected over 10,000 bicycles and assisted countless customers with their bike and accessories purchases.
